Student tasks

Please note that the school requires a good internet connection, especially for the practical work.

As part of your commitment to the school, we ask you to complete the following before attending the Summer School:

  • Scientific poster
A scientific poster describing your research topic (poster formats can be traditional or very creative in Whova – this we leave to your discretion).

  • Oral presentation (1 min)
This is for the lightning round at the end of each day. You should describe your poster in one minute for the entire group. There will be 12-13 per day.

  • Whova profile
Please make your own space on the Whova platform following the guidelines sent by Mindfully Wired. This will allow other students, as well as the lecturers, practical leaders, and organizers, to get to know you and to interact with you.

  • Participation in contests
We have not finalized the contests we will offer yet, but we encourage you to join when we do. They will sometimes be about scientific content and sometimes about creativity. This is a great opportunity to network and win prizes. Some possibilities are a photo contest and poster prize.
